Calais is a sound installation by means of which found plastic bags lying on the ground transmit recordings of wind made early in the morning, with no audible human presence, in various places in the town that lends its name to the work. The bags are scattered around the exhibition space, creating a network of constantly changing feeds produced by variations in the sounds of the recordings, the exhibition visitors moving around within this network.
