Both omnipresent and discreet (it’s easy not to notice it and miss it completely), the sentence “Listen around before reading this statement” is included in the form of a “legal notice”, on the various printed and digital communication, mediation and administrative materials for the exhibition in which the piece is activated and which are used by the institution throughout the exhibition.

For its first activation, for the Max Feed exhibition (cur. Daniele Balit) at Frac Franche-Comté, the sentence was disseminated in Frac staff messaging address signatures on posters for panels placed in public spaces, as well as the programme, the exhibition guide, newsletters and so on.

The piece was also made into a sticker that was slipped inside the exhibition catalogue, on its publication in 2018.
