Les eaux dormantes (les surendetté·es)

Les eaux dormantes (still waters) take the form of puddles whose volume is determined by social, economic or demographic quantification, at a rate of one metric drop (0.05 ml) per unit. Les surendetté·es uses statistics from the Bank of France listing the number of people who have filed for bankruptcy (latest report published by the Observatory of Banking Inclusion, 2024). It forms a puddle of 29.30 liters.
