Les séparations

This graphical score for feedback reproduces the delineations of separating walls between nation states either currently in use or under construction. For its performance, contact mics are fixed onto each wall of the space in which the performance takes place and are linked to amplified loudspeakers (one per mic) via a mixing desk to produce feedback loops.  Each delineation corresponds to changes in one or several settings on the mixing desk. The performer follows the delineation by applying its variations to the potentiometers.
