Les supports (scénographie d’un mobilier de bureau)

As part of the Temps partiels II. Flextime (Part time II. Flextime) exhibition, 12 pieces have been produced, one for each of the employees at the BBB art centre. Each work is associated with a piece of office furniture, selected by the employee. During the exhibition, this piece of furniture remains functional for the person using it, but is moved, along with its contents and is on display to visitors. Moving the object thus blurs the lines between the functionality of the object and its role as an element in an artwork. This scenographic protocol questions movements within the art centre itself, changing habits, spaces and the choreography of bodies at work.
